Ashley Graham was born on November 22nd, 1989, in Lincoln Nebraska. The twin sisters raised in the same household, and she often faced bullying in school because of the size of her legs. Graham was diagnosed at first with A.D.H.D. shortly after her elementary education. Graham overcame this obstacle and others during her childhood. Graham's talent was discovered at the age of 12 by an agent when she was out going shopping in Nebraska. Prior to her graduation in 2005 at Lincoln Southwest High School (now Lincoln Southwest High School) She had been featured on various billboards and magazines. When she first began her modeling career, she faced difficulties finding jobs because her body was quite unique. Graham was initially offered a spot in catalogs for many years but she wasn't told that her career was going to go further than those simple tasks. It was fortunate that she was able to prove the session casters' wrong and saw rapid growth in her career. Sally Singer was the "Vogue Magazine" interviewer, who provided her with one her first breaks in 2007. In 2009, she was featured as a model in "Glamour magazine"'s "These Bodies Can Be Beautiful at Any Size" with Sally Singer. Then, making headlines again, Graham starred in a controversial Lane Bryant ad that was eventually banned across a variety of countries; the commercial was viewed by more than 800,000 views at the time it was pulled from YouTube. As the controversy grew, she appeared in the Jay Leno show "The Tonight Show". Graham was well-known and is was one of the most admired plus-sized women in the world today. Grande began singing and acting when she was a young child. In 2008, she was offered a role in the Broadway show 13, and she soon started appearing in small parts on television shows. Her role on Victorious the Nickelodeon show on television in 2010, was her first big breakthrough. The show featured her as Cat Valentine a teenage girl who was attending a performance art school. The sitcom was cancelled in 2013 and she was a part of the spinoff, Sam & Cat.
